That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ｢転生したらスライムだった件, tensei shitara slime datta ken, lit. "Regarding Reincarnated to Slime"｣ is a web novel created by Fuse ｢伏瀬｢フセ｣｣, hosted on Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It began on February 20, 2013 and was completed on January 1, 2016.

Reception[]

The series became very popular, and was acquired for print publication by Micro Magazine, who published the first volume in May 2014 under their GC novels imprint, with illustrations by Mitz Vah. The series was later adapted into several media, including multiple manga adaptations and an anime series. The web novel was reported to have over 400,000,000 views when the anime adaptation was announced.^[2]
