Zero ｢ゼロ, zero｣ was one of the hundreds of Androids ｢人造人間, jinzō ningen, lit. "Artificial Human"｣ created by Yuuki Kagurazaka, being considered the sole true success among them.
After receiving the Ultimate Skill Azi Dahaka from Velda and devouring Ramiris's Dungeon, he managed to perfect the artificial dragon factor imbued into Azi Dahaka and awakened as the Berserk Evil Dragon ｢狂邪竜, kyōja-ryū｣. He met his end shortly after, having his dragon core absorbed by Gaia.
Appearance[]
Zero has the appearance of a giant humanoid figure that towers over most people.
Personality[]
Unlike Vega who was designed to possess violent emotions and an aggressive personality, Zero was stripped of any and all capacity for emotion. He possesses a supreme intellect, a calculative nature, and the ability to remain calm in any situation. Combined with his stellar battle sense, he makes for not only a master tactician but a brilliant fighter.
Though being a quiet person, he would often fake being an emotional person to deceive his enemies by putting on an arrogant persona. After facing the absolute strongman of Zegion and losing, Zero managed to feel emotion for the first time in his life, being overwhelmed with fear that made him act irrationally.
Background[]
Zero was born as a result of Yuuki's experiments in creating various homunculi or androids for use in battle. In the process of these experiments several hundred specimens were produced—including Vega—but only Zero was considered a full success. As a perfected Battle Creature, Zero became one of Yuuki's most valued assets as his personal battle doll.

Clash of Demons and Dragons[]
After the Emperor Rudra was pushed to his limits in battle by Ultima, he was tricked into activating Armageddon by Yuuki. Following this, Zero absorbed the power and status of an angel, successfully evolving into a Seraph and ascending to Heaven with the rest of the angel army.
Tenma Great War[]
After the start of the Tenma War, Zero pledged his loyalty to Velda and was assigned as one of the Seven Executioners, receiving the Ultimate Skill Master Shield in the process.
He led an army of angels into battle alongside Mai, participating in the invasion of Inglassis as its commander. Following the activation of Veldora’s Fertile Paradox Zero grabbed Mai and fled the battlefield via teleportation, leaving the army of angels behind to their demise.
Following the supposed defeat of Rimuru at the hands of Milim and the death of Kazalim, Zero was given orders to invade and destroy the dungeon under Ramiris’s control. Taking an army of angels with him, Zero launched a coordinated assault on Tempest. While the power of the angel army was unified under Mai’s ability on the outside, Zero, Dino, Pico, and Garasha invaded the dungeon.
Using Azi Dahaka, Zero extended his roots throughout the dungeon, wresting away floors 1-60 and making them his own. He ordered the rest of his group to advance forward into the deeper floors while he stayed behind to focus on eroding the dungeon fully. After his assimilation reaches 90% completion he’s confronted by Zegion, who was secretly next to him the entire time. After being overwhelmingly defeated by Zegion and having his perfect defense broken, Zero feels fear for the first time in his life.
Due to gaining emotions, Zero begins to think irrationally and makes the desperate decision to assimilate with the remaining 40 floors all at once. This causes him to lose his sense of self and become a mindless beast that eats everything indiscriminately. During this process Azi Dahaka, which had unexpectedly merged with Zero’s body and caused him to mutate, caused a massive change in Zero. The artificial dragon factor implanted into Azi Dahaka by Velda had taken root and germinated into a Dragon Core, resulting in the birth of the Sixth True Dragon, the Berserk Evil Dragon Zero.
Following this evolution, Zero’s endless clones flooded the dungeon and attempted to consume and destroy everyone and everything inside of it. He was eventually confronted by the team of Benimaru, Diablo, Dino, and Zegion, who unleashed their strongest attacks into the Quartet Skill Breakdown Nostalgia. The sheer power of this attack completely obliterated Zero’s body and reduced him to just his dragon core. Then Rimuru Tempest appeared, implanting the Heart Core of Gaia into Zero’s dragon core, overwriting Zero’s will as the dominant personality and resulting in the birth of Velgaia.
