Veldanavaヴェルダナーヴァ, verudanāva, later known as Velda Navaヴェルダ・ナーヴァ, veruda nāva, is the eldest of the True Dragons and the father of Milim Nava.

Personality[]

Originally an extremely lonely and bored individual, after the birth of human beings Veldanava developed an extreme curiosity and fascination will living beings and their boundless potential. He even learned how to love after meeting Lucia and held the life of his daughter Milim above his own. He was a realist and a perfectionist, constantly striving to help the world move forward while not having naive ideals like his disciple Rudra.

Background[]

Veldanava was one of the first beings to arise after the birth of the world, being born from the Holy Spirit's energy in the primeval age.[2][3][4] At that time he was overwhelmed with boredom and cooperated with Ramiris to tame the chaotic primordial world and gave rise to various different universes bound by his own rules.[5] After that, he spent hundreds of millions of years experimenting and eventually created humans and other lifeforms.[6]

Problems arose however when conflict began to rise between humans, a phenomena confirmed to happen across various different dimensions. After experimenting with various different universes and changing their conditions, he was able to make human souls evolve differently from each other. Then he selected the finest human souls he could find and merged them with elementals of light and darkness, giving birth to the angels and daemons as managers of human souls that lacked lifespan and setting up a system to circulate souls between dimensions.[7] Afterwards he appointed several different people as guardians to help him keep things in balance, beings like Dino, Guy, Ramiris, and Velzard.

When the world finally started to settle down into a stable state he took in the human Rudra Nasca as his disciple and fell in love with Rudra's sister Lucia. He committed to raising a child with her and made various preparations to ensure the child would grow up and become his successor, leaving her the dragon Gaia as her guardian and preparing the sword Veldanava for her to inherit one day.[8] Due to his own lack of foresight however, the very system that he created turned against him. According to the rules he himself made, the love of "god" should be shared equally among all beings, it was never meant to account for loving individuals more than the collective. Realizing this, Veldanava and Lucia allowed themselves to be destroyed by the machinations of the system, sacrificing themselves to prevent Milim from being caught in the crossfire.[7]
