Veyron ｢ヴェイロン, veiron｣ is a Duke from Hell and one of Ultima's subordinates. He has lived for over four thousand years, with his strength second only to Moss and the Primordials. Along with Zonda, he serves as one of Ultima's lieutenants.
Appearance[]
Veyron has the appearance of a gentlemanly middle-aged man with slicked-back purple hair and a lean physique. He wears a butler outfit and sports two curved horns and a handlebar mustache.
Personality[]
Veyron is a multi-talented butler who has learned and mastered countless skills throughout his long life for the sake of pleasing his master. He is a very competitive person, challenging Moss many times in their time in Hell despite being the loser in all their fights. Like most of Ultima's subordinates, he can be very cruel and sadistic, taking joy in the suffering of his foes. Veyron is typically calm and well-composed, but he becomes unnerved whenever Ultima is in a bad mood, and wishes more than anything to not bear the brunt of her anger.
Background[]
Veyron is a Daemon of the pre-historic species and a high ranking figure of the ruling class in the Daemon world, being the personal butler of Violet. In the past, he often dueled the lieutenant serving under Blanc several times and always emerged defeated, cursed to the fate of repeated reincarnations. One day, he and his master were recruited by Diablo to serve Rimuru. Initially, he opposed Diablo's demands - as with several others - but after taking a beating from him, he reluctantly bent to his coercion in the end. Upon meeting Rimuru and acquiring a body, he and Violet received names and evolved to Daemon lords. The two have since pledged their loyalties to Rimuru and settled in Tempest as their HQ. He's an officer in the Black Numbers reporting directly to Diablo, with Ultima acting as his superior officer.
