Three Wise Drunks ｢三賢酔, riega｣, is a secret society founded by Rimuru Tempest, Elmesia El Ru Sarion, and Gard Mjöllmile.
Background[]
As diplomatic relations between Tempest and Sarion strengthened, as well with the former creating inroads into the Western Nations' criminal underworld and unifying all the regional crime groups; a brand-new secret society was born, called the Three Wise Drunks. It was founded by the aforementioned trio with the goal of stabilizing the underworld and filling the power vacuum caused by the fall of the Rosso family and Five Elders who formerly managed it, as well as taking control of the newly born giant economic zone. The organization's cause is to steer the desperate away from taking up crime. It also identifies the right people for the right jobs in the framework, sending outstanding talents to Tempest for further study.

- "Riega" is derived from the first character of each founder's name in Japanese; "Ri" from Rimuru, "E" from Elmesia and "Ga" from Gard. The official English translation uses "REG" in its place.
- Those not aware of the society's origins are under the impression the name means "drunk on dreams." The truth is, the founders were actually drunk while drafting the organization's foundation.
- For a time, Glenda, Ayn, and Girard were assumed by their subordinates to be the leaders of Riega, with the actual leaders preferring to control the organization from behind-the-scenes. So far, Mjölmille is the only of the founders to show their face to the organization's members.
