The Submissive Demon Lord is the twenty-fourth chapter of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime manga adaptation.
Synopsis[]
Laplace is disappointed that Gelmud has died as they no longer can observe the battle. Clayman tells him to assign someone to monitor them as he is sure that it will eventually be reported that a new demon lord has appeared.
The orcs bow to their new king, the Orc Disaster. Shion attempts to fight him, but the orc easily blocks her attack. Hakurou manages to sneak and decapitate him, but the orc continues to move and reattach his head. Souei captures the orc in a sphere of thread, while Benimaru fills it with his Hellflare. As the attack ends, Ranga strikes the orc with black lighting. Ranga runs out of magical power and Rimuru tells him to rest in his shadow. The Orc Disaster still lives and has started to eat his arm in order to regenerate faster. He then turns to his men and starts eating them and fully recovers.
Rimuru then steps in and tells Benimaru that he will take care. Shion wants to help, but Benimaru stops her per Rimuru's orders. The Orc Disaster wonders where the big wolf went and if Rimuru had eaten him, but Rimuru explains he is resting in his shadow and that he don't eat his comrades without reason. The Orc Disaster attacks him and Rimuru starts to dodge. He wonders if his attack will have effect as the rest are honing their skills, while Rimuru's attacks are copied from monsters and he haven't mastered them, and even more he had consciously or unconsciously limited some of his powerful skills. The Orc Disaster uses Gelmud's attack, however Rimuru cuts the orc arm which surprises him as he can't regenerate it. Rimuru then reveals he had let Great Sage take over his body and enter auto-battle mode.
