The One Unleashed ｢解き放たれし者, tokihanatareshi mono｣ is the thirty-sixth episode of the anime adaptation That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and the twelfth episode of the second season.
Synopsis[]
Shion and the rest of the fallen are revived, and with Diablo joining the team... It seems as if all is going smoothly, but Rimuru then receives a report that Milim has declared war and Eurazania has been destroyed, and there's still the matter of the Western Holy Church's hostility toward monsters, even with Falmuth out of the picture.
At the same time, Raphael informs them that the Appraisal of Infinity Prison has been completed. At last, two years after Rimuru's reincarnation into this world, they can finally fulfill the first promise made here: to free Veldora.

Summary[]
After recovering from the transformation into a True demon lord, Rimuru is informed that the Kingdom of Eurazania was destroyed and Carrion defeated by Milim with assistance from the Demon Lord Frey, with the beast kingdom's citizens taking refuge in Tempest. Clayman's possible involvement with Milim and Frey's actions leaves a lot for Rimuru to think about.
The Daemon Rimuru summoned officially becomes their subordinate, receiving the name "Diablo". Rimuru also fulfills their promise to Veldora by releasing his seal and giving him a new body.
