The Beast ｢獣魔合身, za bīsuto, lit. "Beast and Demon Fusion"｣ is a Medical skill invented by the Eastern Empire's Magic Beast Division, based on the Intrinsic skill Beastialize of its Commander.
Abilities[]
Similar to Fusion, it fuses the user and their Battle chimera into one being, granting them powers similar to those of a Lycanthrope in Beastialize, which even allow them to instantly heal from fatal injuries, similarly to Self-Regeneration.[1]
The Beast also have a hidden ability: as long as the user or their partner is still alive, the other would remain alive as well regardless of their injuries.[1]
Components[]
There are three components that make up the ability known as The Beast. First, the user undergoes a special surgery to engrave The Beast into their body. Second, they have a Battle chimera made specifically for them. Finally, when the Commander gives the order, they ingest a special drug that acts as the activation trigger.[1]
Risks[]
There’s only a 10% chance of the transformation succeeding. There’s a 40% chance of the user’s death, 30% chance of falling out of control, and 20% chance of being incapable of turning back to normal and being stuck permanently in Beast form.[1]
The ones who successfully transform without side-effects are called Beast Knights and those that have perfect compatibility with it are called Chimera Knights.
