  • WIKI POLICY
This is an official policy of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Wiki. Misuse of the administrative tool covered below is punishable according to the administration policy unless stated otherwise. Attempts to exploit a loophole by obfuscating the intent behind a rule will still be punished accordingly. Some cases may be forwarded to Fandom staff.

Deletion is the act of removing pages from public view. This page outlines the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Wiki's deletion policy that all pages should be deleted according to. The contribution policy and file policy list other relevant reasons by which a page may be deleted.

Junk pages

Pages that inherently violate policies or violate policies in high volume should be scrapped and remade. For example, if an article is low-quality either due to a lack of citations or incorrect grammar and spelling, editors should add {{Notice|citation}} or {{Notice|cleanup}} to the article and work to improve it. However, in the case that an article is unreadable to the point that it would be easier to fix by starting from scratch, the article should be deleted.

Deprecated pages

If a page has been deprecated, which means it used to be a page useful to the wiki or the wiki's functionality and has since been absorbed by a new page, made useless by a new feature, is no longer related to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, or is no longer needed by the wiki itself, it may be deleted.

Housekeeping

Unnecessary redirects automatically created by page moves, accidental page creations, empty categories, and other similar mistakes are common ways to make a wiki messy and should be deleted. If you accidentally add a page that should be deleted under this rule, blank it and add {{Notice|delete}}.

Templates, files, and modules that aren't used on any pages and empty categories (excluding ones for maintenance) should be also deleted. When a template, file, or module is only used once or twice throughout the wiki, it may be better to replace it with a similar file or a string of wikitext.

Stubs

Articles that consist of just a short paragraph or two or are of similar length are called stubbed pages. Stubs should be deleted if there is no more existing information to share on the topic of the article. If there's more information to be added but the article is just unfinished, contributors can add {{Notice|stub}} to the beginning of the article so that others who want to expand on our shortest articles can find it in Category:Articles needing expansion.

Orphans

Orphaned pages are pages that aren't linked to from anywhere else on the wiki. In most situations, it's not recommended for contributors to look for articles to insert links to orphans on. If a page is orphaned for a long time, it's likely not up to the wiki's quality standard or sufficiently relevant.

Deletion by request

In the case of user pages (excluding block logs), which the users decide the content of themselves unless they violate policies, deletion can be carried out if the respective user requests for the page to be deleted. The easiest ways to make a request are inserting {{Notice|delete}} at the top of a user page or reaching out to a local administrator on their message wall.
