Team Lightspeed ｢閃光, senkō, lit. "flash"｣ were a party of A rank adventurers led by Masayuki.

Story[]
The party was first formed when Masayuki defeated Jinrai and earned his company. Bernie, who was looking for a party back then, was introduced to Masayuki by Yuuki Kagurazaka. After Bernie was introduced to them, they formed a three-man squad and progressed at an overwhelming rate. In only about half a year, the squad was already given the nickname "Team Lightspeed".
Their fame caught the attention of Jiwu, who then came to their party to check out on them. Initially she called Masayuki a scumbag that waved around the name of "Chosen hero", but for some reason she began to worship Masayuki over time. Thanks to the incredible buff and luck provided by Masayuki's Unique skill Chosen One, they became nigh-invincible and rose to A rank in an unprecedented speed.
Yuuki later asked them to take down the criminal organization Orthrus in the Kingdom of Ballachia. During their time there, one of Orthrus's men tried to frame Masayuki for a murder, but his party foils this plan and expose their plot to the king. After destroying Orthrus's operations, the king asks them to take the former elf slaves back to the Jura Forest, which has now become the territory of Demon lord Rimuru Tempest. Though they want to fight Rimuru, Masayuki doesn't, so Rimuru has them take part in Tempest's upcoming tournament and promises to fight them if they win. Masayuki reluctantly agrees and he and Jinrai compete in the tournament. Though Jinrai ensures that Masayuki would win, his leader decided to forfeit as he still does not want to fight Rimuru. After Masayuki became Rimuru's subordinate, the team took part in taking on the Dungeon. After this event is over, they decided to remain in Tempest.
Abilities[]
Although Jinrai was ranked C+, his strength was comparable to that of a Rank B. With the additional aid of Bernie's magic, they were able to safely handle any quest they attempted. Jiwu's elemental magic and recovery magic further improved the party's performance. Most importantly, "Hero's Blessing" from Masayuki's unique skill allowed them to easily prevail in combat. Overall, the party's performance is more than enough to be A rank adventurers.
