Tamura ｢田村, tamura｣, a junior at the same company Satoru Mikami worked at. The two also went to the same university. He is Miho Sawatari's fiancé.
Personality[]
Tamura is a bright and cheerful young man, described by Satoru as being impossible to hate.
He is also trustworthy, being entrusted with Satoru's dying wish to destroy his PC.
He also promises that if he ever had a kid he will be named Satoru.
Background[]
Tamura went to the same university as Satoru prior to being employed at the same company as Satoru. They had hit it off during Tamura's training period at the company and were good friends despite their 9-year age gap.
Story[]
Tamura, along with his fiancé Miho Sawatari, had asked to meet Satoru to ask for advice. During their meeting, a person was running with a kitchen knife and was about to stab Tamura when Satoru pushed him aside to take the blow. As Satoru died, Tamura was entrusted with his dying wish to destroy the contents on PC by turning it on in a bathtub of water. After he did so, he made a vow to name his child after Satoru should he have one. Unbeknownst to him, Satoru was reborn in the Central World, where some people from Earth have been transported to, as a slime called Rimuru Tempest.

- Tamura is quite incompetent with his work, as stated by Rimuru, messing up and doing things wrong even after having everything explained "50 times" by his boss, Satoru Mikami.[1]
