Surmounter ｢超克者, chōkoku-sha｣ is a blanket term for stronger vampires who were able to overcome the normal limitations of their species.
Physical Traits[]
In addition to being stronger than typical vampires, surmounters have evolved past the normal vampire limitations of requiring the blood of humans or demi-humans for sustenance and being burned by direct sunlight. They subsist by directly absorbing some life-force from people every now and then.
