Spatial Storage ｢空間収納, kūkan shūnō｣ is an extra skill and a fundamental spell in spatial magic.
Abilities[]
A skill similar to Stomach, it allows the user to store things away in a personal sub-space.
Spell Version[]
The spell version of spatial storage seems to have two main variants: one seen among majin, which seems to operate similarly to the skill version,[1] and another, seen mainly among humans, which operates slightly differently, using a physical object such as a pouch, bag, or chest as a medium, likely to make it easier to use. In the case of the latter version, the spell will increase the interior dimensions of the object by several times while retaining the exterior dimensions, resulting in even a relatively small bag being expanded to carry over 0.1 cubic meters (~3.5 cubic feet or 100 litres, as much as a large suitcase).
However, the spell version has certain limitations and drawbacks that don't always make it convenient to use, such as having a time limit and needing to be recast before said limit has elapsed to maintain the effect of the spell, with the standard time limit among the human, item-based version being about twenty hours.
More rarely the spell can be seen used in enchanting to permanently convert a bag into a storage-type magic item. This type of item is not only extremely rare but also very expensive, meaning it is typically only seen used by extremely wealthy individuals like Minitz.[2]
