Shadow Motion ｢影移動, kage idō｣ is an Intrinsic skill of tempest wolves, Star Wolves, Tempest Star Wolves and Vampires.
Abilities[]
It allows the user to utilize the Shadow Space ｢影空間, kage kūkan｣. It is a unique space inside shadows that connects them with each other and can be accessed through related spatial skills. There is no air inside the space, so the user needs to hold their breath while inside.
It is mainly used as a spatial ability that reduces the distance traveled to zero, ignoring obstacles by passing through the shadow space. Depending on the individual the range can vary. It also can be used as a hiding spot or base, allowing the user to stay by someones side anywhere at all times, regardless of the distance traveled, by hiding in their shadows.
Heat does not change inside the space so it is used as transportation route for the hot spring water in Tempest via plumbing that connects the baths to a faraway volcanic hot spring.[1] Rimuru is thinking about using it alongside Magisteel Thread to connect the Central World's cities together as a base for a Global Communication Network.[2]
