Scorching God Mountain ｢燃え盛る神山, moesakaru kamiyama｣ — also known simply as the Divine Mountain ｢神の山, kami no yama｣ — is a large volcanic mountain located near the capital of the Eastern Empire.

Scorching God Mountain is a sacred site for the denizens of the Eastern Empire, said to enshrine the Scorch Dragon Velgrynd — the Empire's guardian deity — and acts as her base of operations.[1] The sacred mountain is known to erupt as a sign of approval and a show of respect to the new emperor during his coronation ceremony.[2]
