Sauzer Coleus ｢サウザー・コリウス, sauzā koriusu｣ is a character that features in Visions of Coleus. He's introduced as the villainous first prince, but once the plot of Gustav and Karl is foiled, his name is cleared. He ultimately succeeds his father, becoming the King of Coleus.
Appearance[]
Sauzer is a frail man dressed in middle-eastern style clothes with tanned-brown skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. During the time he was borrowing the power of Gustav he temporarily had a much more healthy appearance.
Personality[]
Sauzer is a compassionate but cunning man who values his family more than anything. He cares about Zenobia more than anything, to the point of being willing to kill and die for her sake. He's described as a "crying child" by Zenobia, who had used her Unique skill Wisher to peer into his soul.
Background[]
Sauzer was born as the First Prince of the Coleus Kingdom to his father King Tedron and his first wife. He was raised around his many siblings, with his similarly frail sister Zenobia holding a special place in his heart. Three years before the events of Visions of Coleus, Sauzer becomes a pawn in the schemes of his father who had used forbidden magic to summon and incarnate the Archdaemons Karl and Gustav. Gustav used his position as the Court Physician to lend his power to Sauzer, returning him to perfect health and making him strong, while also making his sister Zenobia become so sick that she was left blind and bedridden. Karl and Gustav continued to act behind the scenes, pushing a wedge between Sauzer and his younger brother Aslan in an attempt to make the two brothers kill one another while Zenobia was prepared as a vessel and offering to Violet. Thanks to the efforts of Rimuru, the plot that had riled the kingdom into chaos had been settled. With the mysterious death of his father, Sauzer ascended to the throne and became king.
