Reconciliation and Agreement ｢和解と協定, wakai to kyōtei｣ is the fifty-ninth episode of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and the eleventh episode of the third season.
Synopsis[]
The Clerics of the Seven Luminaries were purged by Luminous, bringing the battle to a close. Rimuru and Hinata begin negotiations on diplomatic relations. During the discussions, they came to know of the existence of the "Eastern Merchant" who has been pulling the strings of the battle.[1]
Summary[]
Damrada speaks with Granbell and Mariabell regarding Diablo's presence and their failed attempt to defeat Hinata and Rimuru. Granbell still has his sights on defeating Rimuru as he still considers his nation a threat. Deciding to not be involved any further, Damrada leaves, leaving Granbell to swear revenge. Meanwhile, Rimuru speaks with Hinata and Luminous regarding past events that led to their conflicts along with Clayman and Damrada's motives. Luminous explains the origin of the Seven Luminaries, what their true intentions were, and their connection with Clayman, and that Granbell was once a hero who fought her in the past. Rimuru also suspects that Yuuki is the one pulling the strings. As they make peace with each other, Luminous vows to have Veldora punished one day. As a result, they decide to have two of the Saints remain in Tempest and build a church in the city to symbolize their alliance. Hinata also receives a new sword from Rimuru. Both groups then spend the evening with each other. Damrada later speaks with Yuuki about what he learned. Damrada leaves and Yuuki prepares to make his next move.
