Phantoms ｢妖魔族, fantomu, lit. "specter tribe"｣ are a kind of specters. They are invaders from another world, able to possess living beings.

Characteristics[]
Phantoms tend to be cruel; their goal is to invade and conquer other worlds, be it through brute force or trickery. However, they tend to be cautious of not antagonizing the whole world at once and instead try to divide and conquer and take their time with the conquest.
If they possess someone with too strong a will, they might risk losing themselves and taking up the host's personality and desires.
Abilities[]
Phantoms have the ability to send out a Split Body ｢分体, buntai｣ to possess another being. The Split Body is initially weakened, with it taking about two months to fully assimilate into the host body.[1] Split Bodies can also be utilized in environments full of Magicules, such as the Dungeon, similar to any spiritual life-form without a host body.[2]
