Orc Disaster is the twenty-third chapter of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime manga adaptation.
Synopsis[]
Gelmud joins the battle and comes to the Orc Lord. He is annoyed that the oni are messing his plan and that the Orc Lord still haven't evolved into a demon lord. The Orc Lord has no idea what he means. Gabiru sees Gelmud and is happy that he may have come to save them, but instead Gelmud attempts to kill him. Rimuru protects Gabiru, realizing that this whole plan was made by the demon lord Gelmud serves. Gabiru wonders why Gelmud tried to kill him as he had told him he has potential. Benimaru guesses that other people are just tools for him. The oni then surround Gelmud confirming that he ordered the orcs to attack their village and that due to him the ogres are dead.
Rimuru tells the rest to not interfere with the oni. He is surprised that the Orc Lord isn't moving and that it kinda looks dumb, while another orc behind him looks far stronger. Great Sage explains that after absorbing so many abilities, the Orc Lord mind is corroded. Gelmud attempts to run, but Souei captures him in his threads. Gelmud requests help from the Orc Lord, who thinking that he needs to evolve into Demon Lord, decides to do as Gelmud wishes and beheads Gelmud and then eats him. Having eaten a majin, the World Language states that Geld has started to evolve into a demon lord. Feeling his aura, Rimuru tells everyone to step back and don't touch it. As his aura goes over a dead body, it completely corrodes it. The Orc Lord then successfully evolves into a Orc Disaster.
