Megalodons ｢空泳巨大鮫, megarodon, lit. "Sky Swimming Giant Great Shark"｣ are Magic beasts Charybdis is capable of summoning using her intrinsic skill Summon Monster.
Appearance[]
They resemble giant sharks, similar to actual Megalodon, but the surface of their body is protected by hard dragon scales.[1] They can vary in size based on the bodies they incarnate; the ones accompanying Charybdis during her attack on Tempest were over 20 meters long due to incarnating the bodies of Lesser dragons, which was noted to be larger than any megalodon seen before.[2]
History[]
When Charybdis possessed the body of the Beastketeer Phobio, she summoned 13 megalodons to incarnate into the bodies of Lesser dragons provided by Tear and Footman (originally intended to be used to incarnate Charydbis herself).[2] They were all killed by the joint Tempest-Dwargon force using physical attacks since the megalodons had incarnated, before facing off Charybdis.[1] Their remains would be used for food or materials for items.
Abilities[]
Megalodons are able to fly by swimming through the air as if they were in water, giving them amazing maneuverability. They are also highly resistant to both physical and magical attacks thanks to their hard scales and Mana Jamming skill.

- Blade Charge ｢刃突撃進, jintotsugekishin｣: An art that uses the megalodon's large size and blade-like scales. A high-speed attack that collides their strong body to cut and crush the opponents to pieces.[1]
