Material Creation ｢物質創造, busshitsu sōzō｣ is an Intrinsic skill inherent to the Daemon race, though it can also be acquired by others, as proven by Velgrynd and Rimuru.[1]
Abilities[]
It allows the user to create matter by expending Magicules[1] or by converting their own Mana directly.[2] It is usually used to create Equipment like weapons or garments, the Grade of which depends mostly on the quantity of energy used. Depending on the knowledge and proficiency of the user, it can potentially be used to create extremely complex devices; Testarossa used it to create a Magic Canceler ｢魔素撹乱放射, majikku kyanserā｣, a highly advanced magic technology.[3]
Velgrynd uses it to create her God Grade Azure Dragon Blades. However, they proved vastly inferior to Rimuru's Drago Blade, which had been passionately forged by Kurobe with focus on durability, shattering upon impact. Her swords are merely made of an enormous amount of condensed magicules and thus lack the quality masterful forging provides. This shows that equipment made using this skill can be inferior to crafted equipment of the same grade.[1]
