This is my first afterword in a long time. Look at this, Volume 21 already. The story's nearing the end of the seventh volume of the original novel series, but that's still not even the halfway point. It's rare that this happens for a manga based on an existing property, so I’m overjoyed at the honor. It's a manga contest, so it goes without saying that the person who earned this award was Kawakami-sensei. He's brought the world of the books to life with his incredible imagination, and given the story a richer dimension. His great skill and hard work won this award. And it's thanks to your support of the series, as well! As the original creator, I’m absolutely delighted with the news.
