The Magic Continent ｢魔大陸, ma-tairiku｣ is the central continent where most of the series events take place.
Overview[]
On the far west, there are the "Barren Lands", a great expanse of inhospitable sandy desert contaminated with magicule radiation and the territory of Demon Lord Dagruel, on its border lies the Holy Empire of Lubelius, a rich land and the territory of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine as well as the home of the Western Holy Church.
In the center of the continent lies a great collection of countries collectively referred to as the 'Western Nations', as well as the Jura Forest which contains the Jura-Tempest Federation and is the abode of Storm Dragon Veldora. Both are considered the territory of Demon Lord Rimuru, although he's only publicly the ruler of the Tempest Federation. There's also the 'Great Canaat Mountains' to the north, a great expanse of mountains ruled on the surface by the Dragon lords who reside in the 'Dragon's Den' at the peak of the tallest mountain, and ruled underground by the Armed Nation of Dwargon. And at the southern border of Jura Forest is the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion, a collection of 13 elven states that swear allegiance to their divine emperor Elmesia El Ru Sarion, but otherwise act independently to each other. Its "capital" is the state of Elmin where the emperor and her family reside.
In the eastern border of the Jura Forest lies a collection of Demi-human and Majin populated states collectively the territory of Demon Lord Milim Nava. Its 'Capital' is the unnamed city currently under construction at the site of the former capital of the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. And finally to the far east lies the Nasca Namrium Ulmeria United Eastern Empire or more simply 'Eastern Empire', an expansionist empire made up of over 100 cities with a population of over eight-hundred million people. In the empire, people of all races are accepted without prejudice as long as they submit themselves to the emperor and anybody can obtain political power by joining the military. It is a land of "might makes right", ruled by its eternal emperor Rudra Nam Ul Nasca. Its capital is called 'Nasca' and is located next to a Great Holy Mountain said to house the empire's guardian deity, Scorch Dragon Velgrynd.

- Population: 3,000,000 high ranking citizens + 300,000,000 weaker races
A Beastfolk-centric country that favors only the strong, ruled by former Demon Lord Carrion. It has plentiful fruit plantations due to the warm climate.
Armed Nation of Dwargon[]
- Capital: Central
- Population: 100,000,000 (50,000,000 Dwarf + 50,000,000 others)
A country more commonly known as The Dwarf Kingdom, carved into the huge mountains in in the north of the continent. Its major industries include mining, manufacturing, and artisanal crafts.
Dragon's Den sits atop the large mountain which covers about 90% of this nation.
Great Canaat Mountains[]
These are a set of mountains which are on the border between the Armed Nation of Dwargon and the Jura Forest.

Nasca Namrium Ulmeria United Eastern Empire[]

A vast empire in the north-eastern part of the continent. Its official name is Nasca-Namrium-Ulmeria Eastern Imperial Union.

An area which is a large open plain which is in both the Great Jura Forest and the Eastern Empire.
Great Jura Forest[]
Jura-Tempest Federation[]

- Population: Ever-Growing
A union of different races spanning the Great Jura Forest. Total population is uncertain, but the capital is known to have thousands of goblins and orcs, among others.
There are multiple locations of interest in the Great Jura forest and these include;
Lake Siss ｢シス湖, Shisu Mizūmi｣ - Also known as Lake Shisu, this place is home to the Sissie along with the Merfolk. Also home to 'Amphibious Monsters'.
Sealed Cave - The location of Tempest's Hipokte Grass farm, Which is under Gabiru’s supervision and the location where Veldora sealed by the Hero before. The Hipokte Grass can be cultivated due to the high amount of Magicules within the cave.
Khusha Mountains - The home and base of the Tengu. The Ogre Village was situated near the base of the mountains.
Harpy Queendom of Fulbrosia[]
- Capital: Jia
- Population: 1,000,000
A country of Harpies, with former Demon Lord Frey as its Queen. A mountainous region full of jewels and rare metals.
Holy Empire of Lubelius[]

The headquarters of the Western Holy Church (Luminous's Religion), a communistic theocracy led by the pope. A wealthy country among the western alliance, with vast wheat-producing regions.
Kingdom of Blumund[]

- Population: 1,000,000 Citizens + 500,000 Free People
A small country bordering the Great Jura Forest. Farming and Livestock are common place, but most of the products are used up by the country, and there are no other remarkable industries.
Kingdom of Falmuth/Kingdom of Farmenas[]

- Population: 30,000,000 Citizens + 10,000,000 Free People
One of the major powers among the western countries, a feudalistic society that strongly favours the nobility. Prospers as a trade route between the eastern and western sides of the continent.
Kingdom of Englassia[]

- Population: 20,000,000 Citizens + 20,000,000 Free People
A large country rivalling the Kingdom of Falmuth, the cultural centre among the western countries. International organisations such as the Free Guild and the Western Alliance are headquartered here.
Kingdom of Siltrosso[]

- Population: 2,000,000 Citizens
One of the smallest constituent countries of the Western Alliance. It specialises in traditional crafts, but is also active in business and trade.
Puppet Nation of Jistav[]

- Population: 100,000,000 (Various Majins, Dark Elves, Demi-humans, and a large number of Slaves)
A territory ruled through terror, with Demon Lord Clayman as the absolute authority.

A republic that makes its living off of trade with Sarion and farming. Every citizen can use Elemental magic

Trivia[]
- The Demon Lords practically own most of the continent; very little of the habitable land isn't allied with one either.
- Until Rimuru arrived, the Jura Forest was Veldora's territory and served as a Buffer Zone with the Demon Lords agreeing to not step a foot in the forest after Veldora's absence.
- Dagruel and Luminous own the west side, Rimuru owns the center, and Milim owns the east side.
