Mage ｢魔法使い, mahōtsukai｣ refers to an individual who utilizes Magic. The types, methods and quantity of magic that a Mage can use depends on the Mage's specialization, proficiency, body, and available tools.
Magicule Handling[]
External Magicule-based Mage[]
The vast majority of Mages possess too little of their own Magicule reserves to be able to directly cast any Magic. To counteract that problem, they make use of the Magicules in the surroundings and if there are too few Magicules available in the surroundings, or have already been used up, they can utilize Magic Items such as Magic Crystals, that can store Magicules instead.
Internal Magicule-based Mage[]
Majin as well as some races of Demi-humans and other strong individuals have an internal Magicule storage large enough to directly cast spells without needing to use the surrounding Magicules or some other Magicule storage device, making them less dependent on outside sources.

- Sorcerer
- Sorcerers ｢法術師, sōsarā｣ are mages that utilize Aspectual magic. Examples for Sorcerers are Ellen and Rommel.
- Shaman
- Shamans ｢呪術師, shāman｣ are mages that utilize Elemental magic. Examples of Shamans are Class S and the citizens of the Republic of Ulgracia.
- Maya
- Maya ｢妖術師, māyā｣ are mages that utilize Illusion magic. Examples for Maya are Shuna and Jagi.
- Enchanter
- Enchanters ｢符術師, enchantā｣ are mages that utilize Engraving magic to apply magical properties to items.
- Priest
- Priests ｢神霊術師, purīsuto｣ are mages who who utilize Holy magic, especially ones that fill a support role such as that of a healer, rather than that of a direct combatant. Examples of Priests include Reyhiem and Nikolaus.
- Summoner
- Summoners ｢召喚術師, samonā｣ are mages that utilize Summoning magic. An example for Summoners is Thegis.
- Elementaler
- Elementalers ｢精霊使役者, erementarā｣ or Elementalists are mages that combo Elemental magic and Summoning magic to summon contracted Elementals. Examples for Elementalers are Shizu and Litus.
- Magician
- Magicians ｢魔術師, majishan｣ are mages who have learned at least two different types of magic.
- Wizard
- Wizards ｢魔導師, wizādo｣ are mages who have mastered three or more different types of magic. Examples for Wizards are Jaine, Mjurran, and Razen.
- Saint Wizard
- Saint Wizards ｢聖魔導師, sento wizādo｣ are Wizards who have mastered Holy magic. Examples for Saint Wizards are Hinata Sakaguchi and Leonard Jester.
- Necromancer
- Necromancers ｢死霊術師, nekuromansā｣ are mages that utilize Necromancy. Examples for Necromancers are Adalmann and Kagali.
- Witch
- Examples of Witch include Mjurran and Witch Village.
