Maetel ｢メーテル, mēteru｣ is an Otherworlder summoned by Leon Cromwell, serving him faithfully as his White Knight ｢白騎士卿, howaito naito｣.
Appearance[]
Maetel is a mature beautiful woman with long blonde hair and deep blue eyes. She wears white-colored armor and is described as giving off a warm and comforting aura, enough for Shizu to say that Maetel reminded her of her mother.[1]
Personality[]
Maetel is a kind and gentle woman, treating others with kindness and a beautiful smile. Compared to her fellow Magic Knight Commanders she could be considered exceptionally rational and understanding, able to calmly handle a situation and not place high expectations on others. She acts with grace and etiquette, being described by Shizu as a role model and "the kind of woman I want to become".[1]
Background[]
As a child, Maetel was summoned—and most likely rescued from a deadly situation—by the Demon Lord Leon Cromwell. Being taken under his wing, she received a proper education in both etiquette and combat, growing up to become a commander of her own knight corp.
Much later, when Shizu was similarly summoned by Leon, Maetel quickly became a role model to the young girl. In addition to being a female presence and teaching her etiquette, Maetel would also teach her important things about the world they lived in, such as details about Demon Lords and Chosen heroes, as well as the True Dragons.
