Karl ｢カール, kāru｣ was an antagonist from the Visions of Coleus side story. He was an Archdaemon that served as a lackey to Gustav before being killed by him.
Appearance[]
Karl had the appearance of a stocky man with lightly tanned skin and medium-length purple hair that hid a large portion of his face. He wore fancy gentleman-like clothes and had a striking ring inlaid with a large purple gemstone.
Personality[]
Karl, as typical of most Daemons, had a twisted and cruel personality. He had much less tact than his partner Gustav, with him choosing to go against their plan and kill Sauzer and Aslan ahead of schedule when his lies were exposed and he was confronted by them. He had a very violent attitude and enjoyed fighting. Like his partner Gustav, Karl had a dream of serving as one of Violet's right-hand-men and helping her rule over the human world.
Background[]
Karl, like his partner Gustav, was summoned by Tedron Coleus to help him steal one of his sons bodies. After he got close to Second Prince Aslan and began to feed him lies about his brother Sauzer being turned into a vampire and pawn of the Bloody Lord. His lies had successfully managed to drive a wedge between the brothers for three years before Rimuru Tempest made an appearance and exposed their plot. After having his lies exposed and being confronted, he engaged in combat in an attempt to kill the princes, but was beaten back by Souei and Benimaru. Gustav, desperate to not let the incarnation of their God fail, killed Karl with his own hands and performed the taboo act of Daemon Merging, thus bringing Karl's life to an end.
