High orc

High orcs ｢猪人族｢ハイオーク｣, hai ōku, lit. "boar people tribe"｣ are an evolved form of orcs.

Characteristics[]

High orcs are smarter and less aggressive than orcs while preserving the orc race's special characteristics, with appearance virtually identical to regular orcs. They are less fertile than orcs, but have a longer lifespan, living anywhere from 50 to 70 years on average.^[1]

Members[]

Yellow Numbers[]

They were high orc warriors who followed Geld from the start. Their individual strength was considerably high at rank B+, allowing them to create an iron wall defense by uniting with Geld. Furthermore, they also took the role of platoon leaders that commanded the new troops.

Orange Numbers[]

The newer high orcs that had joined as enlisted soldiers. They were a unit around C-rank in strength, but only 15,000 veterans would be involved in combat. The remaining 20,000 would serve as logistical support or military engineers.

Orc community[]

The community was divided into 10 different tribes: Mountain, Valley, Hill, Cavern, Ocean, River, Lake, Forest, Grassland, and Desert. Each individuals are named after their tribe, plus a number and an alphabet indicating their gender. For example, males and females from the Mountain tribe will be named "Mountain 1M," "Mountain 2F" and so on.

In his face-off with Geld Junior and Hakurou, Razen described Geld as an equivalent existence to an Orc Lord, likely due to his power. In the anime, however, much of the sentence is omitted, making it seem as though he thinks Geld actually is an Orc Lord.^[2]^[3]
