Gobwa ｢ゴブア, gobua｣ is the head of Kurenai and the right-hand woman of Benimaru. Following events in the story, she was forced to let go of her unrequited feelings for Benimaru and developed a bond over drinks with Phobio, who like her was in a similar position, eventually becoming lovers.
Appearance[]
Gobwa is described as a tall, red-haired beauty in a scarlet military uniform. Originally a goblin, her hair used to be gray but following her evolution into an ogre it turned red (blue with red highlights in the anime) under the influence of Benimaru becoming an oni.
Personality[]
Was a background character for most of the series, but during her evolution to an ogre, she became a much stronger individual and parts of her personality became known. She is seen to be highly sociably, and has critical thinking skills. She is weak to flattery and is shown to deprecate herself whenever talk of relationships crops up. During this time, a smitten Phobio got a glimpse of the muscular but beautiful red haired girl who walked by him, eventually leading up to him asking her out and her being absolutely shocked to be seen as a beautiful woman by a world famous fighter like him.
Background[]
Gobwa was originally from the first goblin village that Rimuru aided, ruled by Rigurd. Admiring Benimaru, she proved herself capable as his right-hand and became the captain of his newly formed personal guard, Kurenai.
