Gobto ｢ゴブト, gobuto｣ is a Hobgoblin among the first Rimuru ever Named, working alongside Gobchi in the Goblin Riders as the acting Vice-Commander.
Appearance[]
Gobto is one of the shorter Hobgoblins who didn't change much at all after being named. He has spiky silver hair and his normal attire consists of a dark jacket with a white cloak pinned to one shoulder, usually worn over casual attire.
Personality[]
Gobto is a serious and talented person who excels at his job in the Goblin Riders. He gained knowledge of the fictional stories of another world from Rimuru and became infected with Chūnibyō disease as a result, styling himself after a certain fictional swordsman. He originally relied heavily on his superior Gobchi, but eventually came into his own.
Background[]
Gobto was one of the original Goblins named by Rimuru Tempest, growing up alongside Gobta and the others. After receiving his name and Direwolf partner, he took an active combat role and joined the Goblin Riders. When he was introduced to Japanese media works by Rimuru, he became infatuated with the things he saw and started styling himself after the characters.
Trivia[]
- Gobto is an apparent reference to Kirito from Sword Art Online, sharing a similar name and appearance; as well as mannerisms and dual-wielding fighting style.
