Upon defeating Ifrit, Rimuru obtained this skill. After some testing and initial difficulties in its application due to magicule expenditure, Great Sage fused the effects of Flame Transformation via the unique skill Degenerate with the effects of the extra skill Molecular Manipulation and the ability to expel magicules as black smoke as part of Predator's Mimicry to earn the extra skill Black Flame.
