Flame Manipulation ｢炎熱操作, en'netsu sōsa, lit. "Sweltering Heat Operation"｣ is an extra skill used by Shizu and Charys; eventually, Rimuru, Benimaru and Kurobe gained access to this skill as well.
Abilities[]
It allows the user to manipulate the shape and properties of flames from their surroundings, as well as heat up and control their body's internal temperature. Though it is incapable of directly creating a fire, it is possible to raise the user's body heat and concentrate it on a single point, reaching a high enough temperature to light kindling on fire.[1]
With its power to manipulate flame, it can be used to wrap flames around people or objects and raise the temperature to significantly higher levels than normal.

After defeating Ifrit, Great Sage fused the effects of Flame Manipulation with the Extra skills Water Manipulation and Flame Transformation via Synthesis of the unique skill Degenerate, resulting in the acquisition of the Extra skills Molecular Manipulation and Black Flame respectively.
