Background[]

As seen with the situations of Mjur, Adalmann and Kumara, Clayman’s Five Fingers were mostly recruited through unscrupulous means, with Yamza and Pirone being the only ones to offer their loyalty of their own volition. Having utilized his magic and curses in order to forcibly bind them to him and follow his orders, typically against their will.

Clayman himself has shown to primarily use them as disposable pawns in his schemes, as seen where he had no problem having Mjurran undergo a suicide mission on his behalf and had no problem sacrificing Yamza to kill his enemies should he be overpowered. Clayman himself showcased no other attachment to Pirone, Adalmann and Kumara and was only either annoyed or outraged when they were killed or defeated due to them inconveniencing him and disrupting his plans.
