Enlightened

Enlightened ｢仙人｢せんじん｣, senjin｣ is a term used by Humans to refer to those among them who have "evolved the correct way" and become Demi-spiritual life-forms. The exact criteria for being considered one seems to be arbitrarily decided, but it isn't incorrect to call any Human, High human, or Demi-human who has become a demi-spiritual lifeform an "Enlightened".

Being 'Enlightened' among Demi-spiritual life-forms signifies a state reached through intense Cultivation. Humans, High Humans, or Demi-Humans evolve into Demi-Spiritual Lifeforms, gaining the ability to think with their Spiritual Body and partially elevate their flesh to a higher existence. This state grants enhanced physical and mental capabilities, high tolerance and capacity for magicules, and an extended lifespan.

What is the process of Cultivation that leads to Enlightenment? toggle section

Achieving Enlightenment involves a long, challenging Cultivation process. The individual overcomes a mental barrier, becoming a demi-spiritual lifeform. This change enables them to use their Spiritual Body for cognition and partially elevate their physical form. The Enlightened, even non demi-humans, gain high magicule tolerance and capacity, and improved physical and mental abilities, resulting in a longer life.

When does Rimuru become a human? toggle section

Rimuru gains the ability to transform into a human form after absorbing Shizu. This form is androgynous, with an age that can be altered. Initially resembling a child, Rimuru's human form matures to appear as a 16 to 17-year old as he evolves into an Ultimate Slime. Despite having no visible sex characteristics, Rimuru's human form is often mistaken for a young girl due to its cute features.

Enlightenment[]

Enlightenment typically occurs as a result of long and arduous Cultivation that ends with the person in question breaking through a mental barrier and becoming a Demi-spiritual life-form, allowing them to think with their Spiritual body and partially sublimating their flesh to a higher existence. Other, more exotic ways to achieve Enlightenment include sublimating the body and soul into a higher state using special skills and extensively researching magic and magic tools for a very long time.^[1]

Properties[]

Enlightened individuals, regardless of race, enjoy high tolerance and capacity towards Magicules, large Mana reserves, and high precision with Magic. Their Demi-Spiritual nature also provides them with a long lifespan along with superior physical and mental capabilities. All Enlightened individuals are incredibly powerful, but their strength can vary greatly from person to person. However, even a fledgling Enlightened is strong enough to be recognized as a Hero and fight threats like Greater Majins or Sub-Demon Lord Level monsters. More mature ones tend to possess power comparable to Demon lord seeds and incarnated Archdaemons. The most powerful among them possess power nearly equivalent to an Incomplete Saint.
