Dwarves ｢地人族, dowāfu, lit. "Earth People Tribe"｣ are a species of Sprite Demi-humans with fairy ancestors similar to elves, merfolk and oni, representing the earth element.
Background[]
Although many would consider dwarves as something closer to goblins than humans, there is no doubting their intelligence and abilities. Dwarves are well known for their serious attitudes both in battle and in their craftsmanship. Their production of top of the line goods and friendly nature puts them in the good graces of a majority of the worlds' inhabitants, and their undefeated military history deters the rest from taking direct action against them as a whole.
Appearance[]
A large majority of dwarves appear as they do in most fantasy works; short, stocky, and full of muscle, with most of the men sporting large and luxurious beards. Their skin tone can vary between a deep brown and pale white and while a majority of them have heights around the size of human children, some are the size of full grown adults.
