Dragonewts are the evolved form of Lizardmen and far descendants of dragons. Dragonewts are B-rank monsters.
Background
Dragonnewts can come from Lizardmen that has evolved or descended from dragons that 'humanized' themselves and mated with the human race.
Appearance
The appearance of dragonewts can vary depending on the user's will upon evolution[1] and their origin.
Some Dragonewts don't look much different than lizardmen such in the case of Gabiru and his subordinates. Their color may change to be darker, but some don't seem to change their color at all. They sprout dragon wings and their horns grew longer, they are now covered by dense scales that act as a multi-layer barrier.
Other Dragonewts have a human-like appearance such in the case of Souka and her subordinate, along with the members of Dragon Faithful. Furthermore, they can also cover themselves with dragon scales, sprout wings, and horns at will.
