Protections ｢庇護, higo｣ and blessings ｢加護, kago｣ are fundamental properties of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime universe alongside titles and names.
Characteristics[]
Blessings are phenomena that establish profound connections between multiple souls. Within this bond, a fragment of one soul intertwines with another, reciprocally binding them together. Notably, this linkage bestows a unique form of "divine protection" achieved by etching the creature's name deep into their very souls. It's important to note that normally, neither their abilities nor their physical appearances undergo any changes; instead, a subtle transformation occurs within the recesses of their souls. The only known exceptions are the divine protection of True Dragons, which allows some of those under it to use said True Dragon's True Dragon magic, and the combined blessings of an elemental of light/darkness and the Elemental Queen, which allow humans to become Chosen Hero Eggs.
