Demon slimes ｢魔粘性精神体, demon suraimu, lit. "demonic viscous spiritual body"｣ are the ultimate products of slime evolution. They can evolve to this stage by awakening as a true demon lord during the Harvest Festival.
Because there have been no other slimes known to be capable of evolving into this form, Rimuru Tempest serves as the only example for a description.
Appearance[]
In slime form, demon slimes retain the same basic shape as they did previously besides their increased mass. When moving at a quick pace, they sometimes glow golden. According to Rimuru, the demon slime form feels "more majestic" compared to the regular slime form.
Properties[]
As a result of Rimuru's super-evolution, all of their parameters have been greatly increased and the ability to freely change between material and spiritual bodies has been gained. Demon slimes are beings of monstrous power that even have the potential to stand on even footing with True Dragons. As divine beings, they possess immortal material bodies that will never age.
