Cyrus Malukshureサイラス・マルクシュア, sairasu marukushua is a supporting character featuring in How to Spend a Certain Vacation. He was originally a prince as well an adventurer, but ascends the throne to become king by the end of the story.

Appearance[]

Cyrus is a somewhat average looking man with gruff features and short brown hair. His ears are pierced with several golden earrings and he carries a sword on his back.

Cyrus's attire, for most of the story, consists of a mixture of leather and plate armor, befitting an adventurer.

Personality[]

Cyrus is an earnest individual who always looks beyond his own personal needs in favor of the needs of the people.

It isn't to the point of being a genius, but Cyrus possesses all the right qualities to be an excellent king, so much so that his younger brother, Helios, was scared of Cyrus stealing the throne back due to his capabilities, despite Cyrus' lacking magical ability, and thus support from the nobility.

Cyrus takes excellent care of his subordinates, enough to instill their true loyalty in him for life.

Background[]

Cyrus was born as the first prince to the kingdom of Malukshure. As the eldest son, he was expected to become the crown prince… but when he displayed zero talent for magic even as he got older, he was forced to give up the position to his younger brother, Helios. Cyrus eventually decided to leave the castle, taking his most loyal subordinates and deciding to help the citizens as much as possible as an "adventurer".

Even though Cyrus's mother and father loved him dearly, there was little they could do for him other than protect him as much as possible from behind the scenes.

Cyrus, accompanied by Glaive and co, utilized the swordsmanship and Battlewill he'd been learning from a young age to quickly rise through the ranks, becoming an A-ranked adventurer the people outside the capital could rely on as a symbol of strength.
