Cougar ｢クーガー, kūgā｣ is an adventurer that features in the Black and Mask side story.
Appearance[]
Cougar has the appearance of a muscular man with medium-length black hair and black eyes. In his adventurer days he wore a simple outfit which only consisted of shoes, pants, and armor that only covered his vitals, leaving most of his torso exposed similar to a gladiator. He notably has a large scar over his left breast, close to his heart.
Personality[]
Cougar has a serious and reliable personality, able to calmly analyze a situation and perform accordingly. After retiring and becoming a grandfather, he enjoys telling his grandson all about the adventures of his youth.
Background[]
Cougar was once a high-ranking adventurer 40 years ago, his extraordinary toughness and magical armor imbued with magic that restored his wounds and stamina allowing him to excel at it. Even Shizu, the legendary Hero, recognized his strength and considered him a reliable man to act as a vanguard in battle. At some point during his adventures he fell in love with and married his wife who was a fellow adventurer and settled down. In the modern era he's retired and spends his days at home with his wife, enjoying being a grandfather and sharing stories about his adventures.[1]
