Cockle is an antagonist that appeared in the Trinity in Tempest. He used to be a high-ranking member of Orthrus.
Appearance[]
He is a short and somewhat pudgy man. Before being enslaved by Diablo, he used to wear a tux and a a top hat.
Personality[]
He used to be a cruel man who manipulated others to his own gain. While manipulating others, he pretended to be kind, but once the charade was no longer necessary, he would openly boast and claim ownership over his victims.
After being enslaved by Diablo, he became very skittish and servile, doing his best to avoid being punished.
Story[]
Cockle first appeared when Phos, Stella and Nemu were attempting to save a boy from being enslaved by Orthrus. As he fought the trio, he attempted to summon a greater daemon, but the daemon refused to accept the deal due to the presence of Violet. After his enforcer, Rahan, was defeated by Touka, Cockle escaped by teleporting away.
However, Diablo tracked him down to his mansion, killed all his guards along with the war chimera he had prepared as a contingency, and abducted him. It was later revealed that Diablo had enslaved him, tormenting him by forcing him to work unceasingly, which he facilitated by providing him with potions that allow him to work without sleeping.
