Rimuru and the executives gather in a meeting room to hear about Trya's dreadful notice, the return of Charybdis. After learning through Great Sage what Charybdis is, Rimuru gathers the citizens of the Jura-Tempest Federation and announce Charybdis' approach. He then reassures his citizens and commands them to follow Rigur's command and evacuate into the forest. Stepping back from the audience, he aks Vesta to start a communication with King Gazel Dwargo, and Fuze to evacuate alongside the citizens before explaining him why he can't run away and reveal his human form. Afterwards, Rimuru and his army settle on the road towards Dwargon as it will be easier to rebuild it than the town. Trya then exposes Charybdis' set of skills. Milim barges in and asks to help, but Shion and Shuna refuse, arguing it's a problem they had to deal with themselves, and that they can't just rely on Milim all the time. Rimuru reluctantly makes the same demand, forced by his subordinates' claims. They then notice Charybdis' arrival with his horde of megalodons. Meanwhile, the citizens are evacuating in the forest, led by Rigur. Ellen asks Fuze why they aren't helping them but is cut short by his answer. They then see a flare sent by the warriors, letting them know the battle has begun.
