Amaterasu ｢陽炎之王, amaterasu, lit. "Lord of Heat Haze"｣ is an Ultimate skill awakened by Benimaru during his fight against Granit of the Imperial Guardians. It was modified by Ciel using the information obtained by analyzing Velgrynd.
Abilities[]
The essence of Amaterasu is Heat Haze ｢陽炎, yōen｣, which has two characteristics. The first characteristic is the purest embodiment of the Formhide technique and its fundamentals. The user's body turns into a literal haze whereby all manner of attacks, either physical or magical, completely passes through them. The second characteristic is sunlight and superheated flame. When the Magic Flame ｢魔炎, maen｣ with these two characteristics has Benimaru's swordsmanship added to it, the attack resulting from it becomes incredibly powerful.
