Summary[]
Gobta shows the other goblins on how to summon a Tempest wolf. Rimuru realizes that while Gobta was in jail, he was so scared that he sub-consciously used the Tempest wolf Shadow Motion skill while wishing to get away.
Kaijin informs Rimuru that the logging area is complete and they can soon start to build. Rimuru recalls that after returning to village, five hundred goblins from nearby villages had come for protection. As turning them down would lead to their death eventually, Rimuru decides to take them in and expand the village. With preparations ready, Rimuru head towards the location that will become their new village.
Unexpected Guests
A Few days later, Kaval's Party is seen in the forest running from Giant ants and the members are blaming Kaval for pocking the ant's nest. Unable to escape them, Shizu decides to face them and give a chance for the party to escape.
She engages the ants with her flame coated sword and manages to defeat all by one. As the ant was about to attack her, a black lighting strikes it and defeats it. Due to the attack, Shizu's mask falls and lands on Rimuru.
Rimuru gives the mask back and notices Shizu is the "fated person" they were foretold they would meet. Kaval's party then complains that they have been chased by the ants for three days, lost all of their equipment, and are hungry. Rimuru invites them for a meal, explaining that they are building a village nearby.
As they get suspicious of them, Rimuru decides to show hospitality and uses an introduce that included a video game line as a joke. Shizu giggles and picks them up, commenting that she trusts them. She realizes that Rimuru isn't from this world, as other countrymen of hers had used the same game line, with Rimuru confirming her suspicions that they were from Japan.
